What we keep

Whatever you choose to send us. For a christmas light installation request that is usually your name, phone, email and the address and the details of the job. Calls to this site's number are logged with the calling number and time, and voicemails are recorded and transcribed.

Why we collect it

Your details go to a single independent holiday lighting installer serving Newmarket — the one who will quote on your christmas light installation, permanent lighting, tree & landscape lighting or similar job — and to no one else. That holiday lighting installer works under their own insurance and any licence the trade requires.

Analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad pixels. Standard server logs are kept by the host for uptime and abuse prevention, and nothing more.

Retention

Only while it is useful for your job and a short time after. Call recordings are deleted automatically after about three months.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted — email hello@newmarketchristmaslights.ca. Under CASL we contact you only with your consent; reply STOP to any text, or email the same address, to withdraw it.
